Le Tour de Farcycles Sportive.
Save the Date!
Our annual cycling sportive returns for its THIRTEENTH year, taking riders on a fully supported adventure through the breathtaking Cotswolds countryside. From relaxed scenic miles to a proper challenge, there’s a route for every cyclist, each one showing off the very best of what is great about our region.
Le Tour de Farcycles has earned a reputation for its friendly atmosphere, brilliant organisation, and—of course—its legendary Feed Station. Expect cakes, treats, and plenty of encouragement to keep you happy to the finish. All funds raised support local cycling initiatives, from the Cycle Park to training programmes and projects that help make our community even more bike-friendly.
We were thrilled to unveil a brand-new 20-mile route in 2025 designed especially for newcomers, families, or anyone who wants to enjoy the day at a gentler pace. It’s the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere and be part of Le Tour, without needing big mileage in your legs.
Le Tour de Farcycles 2026 is pencilled in for Saturday 11 July 2026. You can register your interest now using the button below, and we’ll let you know as soon as full registration opens. Pre-registration will close at 6pm on 8 July 2026, but on-the-day sign-ups will still be available at the venue.
Le Tour - Routes
-

Espresso-20
the "SHORT & SWEET" – approx 20 miles of gentle countryside, perfect for beginners or those who prefer a shorter, more relaxed ride. Whether you're new to cycling events or just fancy a leisurely spin, this route offers a scenic and enjoyable way to be part of the sportive without the longer distances.
-
Primo-30
the "FLAT WHITE" - approx 30 miles of rolling Cotswold countryside that is just enough to stretch someone looking for a first event. It is also the choice for regular cyclists to have a social meander through some of the region’s prettiest villages. The route is also perfect for families who would like to enjoy a day cycling together.
-
Medio-50
the "FRAPPUCHINO" - approx 50 miles taking in some of our favourite country lanes. This is the perfect ride for cyclists who want to try a longer distance for the first time or who want a longer ride while still having enough energy for lunch afterwards.
-
Massimo-80
the "MACHO-ATTO" - approx 80 miles taking in some hillier terrain that will stretch regular cyclists with a big hill or two, while still enjoying the archetypal Cotswold scenery. Back in time for lunch to relive your epic ride with your cycling buddies.
Timings…..and food!
Le Tour de Farcycles is designed to bring cyclists together, no matter which route they choose. Group start times are staggered every five minutes so that riders of all four routes arrive at the finish around the same time—creating a shared experience even in the final miles.
Our sportive is renowned far and wide for its incredible Feed Station in Quenington, offering an amazing selection of food, including vegan options, to keep riders fueled and happy. And the rewards don’t stop there—every participant enjoys a well-earned lunch in a private courtyard at the finish, the perfect setting to swap stories and celebrate the ride.
This event has become an annual favourite among cyclists of all abilities, with a welcoming atmosphere for families and younger riders who are encouraged to take part.
Our well-marked routes feature distinctive yellow TdF signs, and for peace of mind, broom wagons will be on hand—though, happily, they rarely see much action, as sportive riders are usually well-versed in roadside repairs. GPS route files are provided to all entrants a few days before the event as part of their welcome pack.
Best of all, every pedal stroke supports a great cause—all proceeds go towards developing sustainable, healthy, and inclusive transport initiatives in our region.
